Lisa Todd, LPC
About me
As a licensed therapist in Michigan, I bring over two decades of compassionate, client-centered experience supporting individuals through life’s most complex and meaningful challenges. My practice focuses on helping adults navigate significant transitions, emotional healing, and personal growth with clarity and confidence. I specialize in working with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem concerns, perfectionism, career stress, and major life changes.
My therapeutic approach centers on empowering individuals to build deeper self-awareness, strengthen communication, and cultivate lasting personal transformation. I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can safely explore sensitive areas such as body image, workplace pressure, family dynamics, sexuality, identity, and patterns rooted in childhood experiences—including those related to adult children of alcoholism.
I am particularly passionate about supporting older adults, women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those navigating midlife transitions. My work includes helping clients process complex emotions such as guilt, shame, obsessive thoughts, and the unique challenges of caregiving, aging, and family role shifts. I also support individuals struggling with self-harm behaviors, offering tools to develop healthier coping strategies and emotional resilience.
Above all, I strive to help every client reconnect with their inner strength, rediscover their sense of purpose, and build a life aligned with their values and well-being.
