Lois Vaillancourt, LPC
About me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years of experience helping my clients challenge old beliefs and behavioral patterns that have been disruptive to maintaining a strong sense of self. I typically work with men and women who are having difficulties adjusting to life’s major transitions related to self-identity, self-esteem, self-purpose, and unresolved traumas.
Life is challenging and at times may feel overwhelming. Perhaps you’ve recently been struggling with anxiety, grief, sadness, or depression. Maybe old issues, you thought you had left behind, have been resurfacing and interfering with your peace of mind and ability to manage your emotions. Seeking recovery and freedom from past or current trauma is a courageous endeavor. You deserve a respectful, judgment-free, supportive and, most importantly, safe place, where you can begin your journey to healing and peace; where you will learn to trust and feel safe to be you again. I would be honored to assist you in this journey of self-discovery and freedom from the issues that have kept you from the life you deserve.
I offer evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment for Anxiety, Depression, Mood Disorders, Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Social Anxiety, Family of Origin Issues, Relationship Problems, ADHD, Domestic Violence, Anger Management, and the issues of daily living.

I’m so glad I got matched with Lois! I have not been in therapy in years and my life came to a point where I needed to see a therapist.
Lois actively listens and provides valuable feedback, she not only understands, respects and encourages me but allows me to see things from a different perspective. She provides Invaluable reading material that has also helped me immensely with my progress. I would strongly recommend Lois to anyone looking to see a therapist.
