I am a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. I most commonly work with clients facing addictions and/or a variety of mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. I also have vast experience working with survivors of trauma and loss. Most of my practice has been helping people re-enter the community and start over from very little. I pride myself on my abilities to "think outside the box" and to challenge my clients to utilize their own skills and talents to better themselves. Sometimes we all need a little help to get through a rough spot in our lives and I look forward to being able to help you. I am compassionate and empathetic; however, I am not afraid to challenge my clients as well.
I use a humanistic, motivational, and cognitive-behavioral approach in my work and truly believe that counseling can help. I expect you to be an active member of our team though, as I can only work with as much of the picture as you give me. I am very open-minded and I like to make my clients a part of their own healing and helping process.
