About me

Finally considering therapy? Great! I have many years of experience as a trauma focused therapist. My client demographic is highly variable as I enjoy seeing all humans thrive and be able to experience peace and joy. I work with adults and children, individuals and couples, servicemembers and LGBTQAI. I am strengths-based with conscientious focus on religious trauma and sexual assault survivorship. I hold an M.Ed in Counseling and Human Services and am pursuing a PhD in Clinical Sexology.
I am a safe person to objectively hear your prior trauma and events for which you might carry guilt shame. It's time for you to let go and be free...the freedom to lead a reasonably happy life. (Note, I do not write letters for LOA)

She is absolutely wonderful. She listens but also asks me pointed questions that make me think of things differently. She absolutely does not allow me to get away with things though and that is a huge part of my therapy.

Lori is great. She is genuinely invested in not only solving the puzzle of my psychological issues, but in my passions and seeing me happy. You can tell that she loves her work, and it shows in how effectively and intuitively she seems to understand how people operate. She wastes no time at all, every minute is spent on getting somewhere. After the very first session, I felt more confidence and hope for myself than I had in a while, and that pattern has continued. so far. Never before have I been so excited to go to therapy, and I've seen a lot of shrinks

Lori is a true gift. I am so thankful for our conversations. Coming from a therapeutic background with being quick to recommend therapy to others, I’ve found myself struggling to find someone to truly connect with that understands working with fellow professionals as well. I am so thankful for advocating for myself with better help to get a true gem after I was close to just giving up from a few failed attempts. Highly highly recommend her!
