About me

Hello, my name is Lowell Wallace and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work in 2013 and went on to earn my LCSW in 2017. I have expertise in working with individuals and families with co-occurring substance abuse and other counseling issues. I also have expertise in providing counseling to individuals with mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, family conflict, trauma, ADHD, and much more.

I utilize a client-centered approach and realize clients are the experts on their own lives. I work collaboratively with my clients in setting and reaching their goals that will ultimately benefit their lives. Some of my most used clinical approaches are cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. I enjoy these approaches because it allows me to help my clients gain insight into their core beliefs and how these translate into their thoughts and ultimately their behavior. I believe everyone has inherent strengths and abilities to face and overcome adversity and become more empowered and all they need is some assistance to realize their solution lies within themselves.

I truly enjoy working with others and assisting them in becoming better version of themselves.

Kind and honest and a great therapist

I’ve been working with Lowell for over a year now, and he’s honestly been such a steady presence in my life — kind of like a rock through really complicated times. From the very beginning, he’s met me with patience, warmth, and genuine care. He remembers the details, listens without judgment, and has a way of grounding me when everything feels uncertain.

Even when I wasn’t sure what I needed from therapy, he created a space where I could just be — and that made all the difference. He’s thoughtful, compassionate, and consistent in a way that makes you feel truly seen and supported.

He’s been a great friend and a positive presence in my life — someone I’ve genuinely looked forward to speaking with each week. I’m so grateful for the time we’ve worked together, and I’d recommend him to anyone who wants a therapist who truly shows up for you, week after week.

Lowell is a great therapist! He is very knowledgeable and a great listener. He understands my concerns and listens intently to what I’m struggling with and provides a great insight into my own healing journey. He is wise. I trust him wholeheartedly to help me through this process. Highly appreciated.

The only therapy I've ever done has been on here with Lowell and its been the best thing to happen to me. I feel much more confident in myself and my choices and that has lessened a lot of the issues I was having, I just needed a way to work through it and I continuously am but my mental health is much stronger than its been in years. I can be sad, or upset and work through it without feeling out of control.

He's been my therapist for nearly two years now and I couldn't have asked for a better one! Any concern I have, he takes seriously and we work on it until I feel confident that it's better, and when it's not so serious he's a wonderful, fun person to talk to! Would highly recommend!
