Hello, my name is Lyn Cassin. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, (LCSW) in Indiana. I have worked in the mental health field since 2006 when I graduated with my BSW from Youngstown (Ohio) State University. I became a therapist once I obtained my MSW in 2012. The reason I became a therapist was to be able to help others who are struggling with the challenges of daily living. I've worked with adults who experience depression, anxiety, panic attacks, loss, abuse, addiction issues, and trauma survivors. My therapy approaches combine Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Trauma-informed, Dialectical Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, and other Strength-based therapies. We all need help at some time in our lives. I hope to have the chance to help you with whatever you are struggling with by providing a safe, non-judgemental place for you to talk, and be heard.

Lyn is a good listener and is a good fit for me. She is great at navigating me through solutions. She always gets right back to me and is willing to work with my schedule as she can.
I can't put into words how helpful Lyn has been for me. She has that great balance I look for in a therapist of listening and responding. I would highly recommend Lyn for anyone dealing with trauma.

Lyn is so good at blending questions and every day conversation to make it feel comfortable.
Lyn has been such a helpful resource to listen and provide practical tips!
I feel that Lyn truly understands my situation and things that factor in. She listens, provides ways to obtain additional resources and is very quick to respond outside of designated sessions. I've seen several therapists over the years and I've never felt comfortable with them like I do with Lyn. Her knowledge, experience and personable demeanor sets her apart. I am so thankful for her during one of the most difficult times in my life.
Lyn has been a great help to me the last while. She is a great listener and really validates your feelings.
Lyn is very personable and polite. She related to me in many ways and made me feel ok for what I'm dealing with. She is very smart, but it's pushy or clinical. I felt as though I was talking to my best friend's mom.
Fantastic person. Great to talk to and very good at helping you through any situation.
Lyn has consistently expressed care for the issues that I speak with her on. She's an amazing listener and helps me process my emotional turmoil with expertise and professionalism.
Lyn is deeply compassionate and understanding. Her advice has helped me so much in navigating some difficult emotions and anxiety. I feel like she really takes the time to consider my thoughts, and she responds quickly to messages and journal entries. Thank you so much, Lyn!
Lyn is a true professional who identified some good strategies for me to deal with stress and burnout.
Lyn has helped me so much over the last few months that I feel confident enough to end therapy. Being able to do that in and of itself speaks volumes. Being able to end therapy right before the holidays which has admittedly been a rough time for me speaks even higher of how much Lyn has helped me. It’s hard to say goodbye, but she has given me so much that I feel ready. I can not thank her enough.
My counselor Lyn has been very supportive as I have accepted and processed many different kinds of abuse that have occurred over the course of my life for the first time - religious, sexual, and emotional abuse. Her kindness and ability to meet me where I’m at has kept me coming back. I’m so thankful I finally started therapy and that Lyn has been there for me.
Lyn is great. She really understands my issues and is a great listener. Her advice is always on point. She lets me make my own decisions but also gently guides me. I would recommend Lyn to anyone.
