I am Lynn Corella, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with extensive experience in working with individuals and families across varied settings, such as community mental health agencies, private practice, schools and home settings, as well as online. I approach the therapy relationship with warmth, compassion, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
I believe the client-therapist relationship is the most important component of a successful therapy outcome (which research confirms), so I strive to establish that rapport with you from our very first session. I work from a positive psychology approach, which recognizes the strengths, skills and coping strategies you already possess, toward achieving your goals.
I have worked with a broad range of issues and concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, PTSD, family & relationship issues, self-esteem, personal growth/self-exploration, parenting, LGBTQ issues, life transitions, grief & loss, and substance use, to name the more common issues brought to therapy, but not limited to these.
My therapeutic approach draws from cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness practices, solution-focused therapy, motivational therapy, trauma-focused therapy and accelerated resolution therapy. My commitment is to meet you where you are at, and collaboratively develop treatment goals and approaches that meet your needs. I am here to support and empower you in taking the necessary steps toward your goals, and invite you to join me on this journey.

Lynn is so professional, always on time and makes me feel understood. She pays attention and notices what you need help with even before you realize it yourself. I highly recommend her.

Lynn has been a great pillar of support for me during this challenging time in my life. Her abilities to listen, to rationalize, to provide comfort and to offer encouragement has given me a lot of strength. I’m grateful for her experience and genuine interest. Thank you Lynn! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is my first time ever seeking out conventional therapy and at first I was really nervous and didn’t quite know what to expect, it was a big step into the unknown for me. Lynn helped me to feel completely comfortable, especially being in a state of extreme vulnerability. Lynn is an incredible listener and is very good a prompting questions that help you to reach new perspectives on things. She helped me to feel validated in my experiences and work through some major trauma that I have recently went through. Lynn has shared different resources and exercises that have helped the healing process too! I’m very grateful to have her as a therapist.

Lynn is kind and thoughtful and open to taking the therapy in different directions depending on what I need week to week. She is also non judgmental which is really important for me.

Lynn made me feel immediately safe and heard. Her approach to things are so comforting but encouraging. My boyfriend happened to be in and out of the room during one of our sessions and he was blown away by the snippets he heard (thats saying a lot...hes very resistant to therapy!)
