I have extensive counseling experience in the areas of depression, anxiety, grief, anger management, and trauma including abuse, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.
I use a holistic counseling approach that incorporates my clients’ mind, body, emotions and spirit. I truly enjoy speaking with Malene. She listens so well and uses our conversations and what she has learned about me and those around me to further our therapy sessions. Really helpful and positive! Being able to type out what's bothering me when I can't sleep at night is very helpful to me, and usually there's a reply by the morning!
Malene and I have been working together for about a month. During this time, Malene has helped guide me towards understanding myself and fostering confidence in myself. We try and have phone sessions weekly and I message Malene in between as required. She has also provided me with activities and techniques to give me short term relief from my anxiety and triggers.
Although my journey is nowhere near complete, I have really felt empowered by this experience and knowing I am able to take control of my life and my anxiety.
Malene is a good listener! She has very good plans for a lot of things, and her advices helped me with anxiety and time management.
