About me

Hello!
My name is Mallory Jessee, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as well as a Registered Yoga Teacher. I have been a licensed therapist since 2015 and became a yoga teacher in 2017. I have worked in inpatient and outpatient settings with a wide variety of clients. My therapy style is very supportive and caring but also pragmatic. I want you to get results and feel better as quickly as possible. I draw primarily on theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Solution Focused, and Trauma Informed Care. I feel strongly that you are the expert on your own life, and therapy is most often simply seeing your situation with the help of another set of eyes so that you can create your own solutions. As a yoga teacher, I also believe in the importance of the mind/body connection, and I enjoy sharing insights that yoga philosophy can add to the therapy experience.

There is no problem too big or too small to bring to therapy. I have helped people navigate everything from severe mental illness and great loss to career decisions and improving self esteem. I would love to meet you, learn your story, and see how we can work together to positively impact your life.

Love her so much. She is very caring and listens carefully before responding with more deeper questions. I have made big strides in a short period of time.

She is awesome while identifying the roots to my problems I feel she is getting to know me at the same time it gives me a feeling like I’m talking to a friend but at the same time someone who understands how the brain works it’s really awesome she give me quotes to say to myself and tools to keep myself on track threw the week when a rough moment happens and even though at times emotions get high during sessions I always finish feeling relieved and optimistic about everything

Mallory has created a safe space where I can bring all my messiness and it doesn't put her off. She is kind and supportive and practical. I am grateful to have her on my side.
