Mandy Lopez Azimy, LCSW
About me
“Sometimes clarity arrives one message at a time.”
Hi, I’m Mandy Lopez Azimy, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Mexico and Arizona.
I offer therapy through written messaging, creating a calm, steady space where you can write when things are actually coming up for you, not just during a scheduled session. I respond during consistent check-in times throughout the week. Some people like choosing one steady day as a more focused back-and-forth day, while others prefer to write as things come up. We find a rhythm that works and keep it steady.
Many people who feel anxious about live sessions or have busy, unpredictable schedules find messaging to be a more comfortable way to start therapy.
I work with anxiety, stress, burnout, depression, life transitions, and relationship concerns. My approach is warm, structured, and focused on helping things feel clearer and more manageable over time.
This is a space to begin gently and move forward at a pace that feels right for you. I look forward to working with you here. 🌿

Mandy is a compassionate individual who is easy to speak to. I appreciate her weekly check-ins and suggested exercises after our sessions. I didn’t know what to expect because it was my first counseling session but I felt so comfortable speaking with her. I’m happy to have connected with her and have her as my first counselor.

Absolutely love Mandy. She is compassionate, understanding, and gentle. I’m so happy to have found someone who genuinely listens to my concerns and my feelings, she remembers details from one session to the next making each session feel personal and connected. I also like she checks in during the week with a little note letting me know shes though about me and gives suggestions to help me feel well during the week! I hope to stay a client for a very long time, it’s been a while since I’ve found someone who cares as much as she does!
