About me
Hey there! I’m Marcia — a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), long-time wellness educator, and “movement-meets-mindset” practitioner with over two decades of experience supporting adults through stress, life transitions, workplace stress, burnout, compassion fatigue, and the everyday challenges that make it hard to take care of yourself. I’ve worked in a wide range of settings — crisis hotlines, substance abuse, career planning, military units and federal agencies, private practice, higher education and wellness facilitation — and I bring a calm, practical, whole-person approach to every session.
Although I my time on BetterHelp is limited, I bring years of clinical work, real-world experience, and mind–body wellness expertise to this space. For the last decade, I’ve also taught fitness, movement, and stress-regulation practices, which gives me a unique perspective on how the body and mind interact when we’re overwhelmed or stretched too thin.
I offer short-term therapeutic consults for adults who are stable but overwhelmed, tired of “pushing through,” or struggling to keep up with their own self-care. We won’t do long-term therapy or crisis work here — instead, we’ll focus on practical insight, emotional skills, and small shifts that help you feel more steady, centered, and in control.

I’m a strong fit for adults who are doing “okay” on the outside but feel overwhelmed, unbalanced, or disconnected on the inside. You’re managing life, but the stress is catching up. You want insight, grounding, and small-but-powerful shifts that help you feel more steady and more like yourself.

I may not be the right provider if you are in acute distress, navigating trauma triggers, managing panic attacks, experiencing significant depressive episodes, or need crisis intervention or intensive therapeutic care. I do not offer long-term psychotherapy, emergency intervention, or deep therapeutic work on BetterHelp.
