Marcia Schick, LCSW

Marcia has been so patient with me while I work through the issues that we work through. She is a great listener when I need to simply get things off my chest, and also has plenty of resources on hand that address my concerns and help me learn more about my own mind. I don't know where I'd be without her!

Marcia is an absolute treasure. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for help. She has guided me through indescribable grief and pain, she has seen me through transformational phases in my work life, she has helped me to navigate familial relationships, and most importantly, to understand and strengthen my relationship with myself. She has offered me so many tools - readings, books, podcasts, etc that have aided me on my mental health journey. I now speak a new language when it comes to healing myself and those around me, and I know how to quickly dismiss unnecessary negative thoughts and feelings. Marcia understands my main goal and is committed to helping me get there. But she also understands life happens and is always willing to pause the plan to address what’s going on in that moment. This has really allowed me to connect the dots of my life back to the original goal and apply things I’ve been learning to my daily life. I see myself getting better and healthier each day.
