About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker. I began my career in the child dependency field and worked with children and families. I currently work in the hospital setting and my current role is the emergency room social worker. Many of the patients I see have experienced a traumatic event or recent life change. I primarily complete brief interventions in my current role. It would be nice to have a longer-term relationship with my clients to help them achieve their goals. I have a variety of work experience with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, death and dying, loss and trauma.
My therapy style is open and nonjudgmental. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion.
It is a big step to seek therapy and start making changes in your life. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and help you on your journey.
I look forward to working with you!

Enjoyed my Session with Marica. She listens to my issues and help me find ways to work them out. I am grateful for her Presence and patience.
Marcia is very sweet and understanding. She really takes time to listen and find out how she can help.
Marcia has been a godsend. I've put off trying therapy for a long time and talking with her is such a breath of fresh air. She's wonderful at helping me set goals and offering another perspective on my thinking. I appreciate her timeliness in responding to my journal entries and her thoughtful insight.
I was told not to worry if I didn't connect with the first therapist I met, but I must have lucked out because in the short period of time I've been using Better Help, I feel like I found my perfect therapist match.
