"We either make ourselves miserable or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same." - Carlos Castenada
Thanks for clicking on my page! Often in the hectic pace of everyday life we may not feel that there is time to address things we are currently facing. Counseling is an excellent way to designate a time, with the assistance of an unbiased professional, to assist you in reaching your goals. This can lead to a more positive and fulfilling life experience, with a greater sense of well-being. The overall goal is to feel good about not only yourself but the life you are living.
Counseling is a collaborative, dynamic process, that is based on the relationship between therapist and client. Through careful assessment of client concerns, I tailor the therapeutic approach to the specific needs of each individual. My approach to counseling is diverse, with a collection of therapeutic approaches and techniques: Person-centered, Cognitive-behavioral, Solution-focused. My personal philosophy is based on the idea that counseling is most effective with genuine, honest, and open communication. I believe we are all worthy of respect, support and positive regard in the counseling relationship. I hope to gain insight into what is going on in your life and to better address your needs. I have worked in a variety of settings in the mental health field over the past 15 years. I am excited to be with Betterhelp to begin working with those in need of healing. I like to fill free time spending time with family & friends, exploring the outdoors, spin, weightlifting, yoga, traveling, and volunteering in my community.
I look forward to hearing from you!
