Hi, my name is Marlo (she/her). I'm a licensed social worker in New York. My experience thus far has allowed me to support people's pursuit of personally meaningful goals while they faced multiple life changes/circumstances, including but not limited to: stress, loss and grief, burnout, mental health issues and co-occurring conditions, social inequities and uncertainties, stigma, complex interpersonal challenges, and a multitude of nuances in between.
In partnering with people on their journey in therapy, I often incorporate approaches drawn from person-centered, trauma-responsive practices; cultural humility; systems theory; and holistic/humanistic principles. My lens for collaboration is ever-evolving and is driven by a strong belief that everyone has the capacity for resilience and often have within them the strengths that can be harnessed and manifested to move the needle of change toward fulfillment. My invitation to people who brave the therapeutic space with me is a shared mission of co-creating pathways to their healing and growth.
