Being in the helping profession has given me the opportunity to touch and transform the lives of others in special ways. During my time working as a Licensed Professional Counselor, life has given me the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life facing different issues such as trauma or abuse, anxiety, depression, difficulty coping with stress and others. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including primary care, emergency shelters, and most recent with the Military Veteran population at a local clinic.
My areas of specialty are: PTSD & Trauma, Relationship Issues, Grief, Anxiety, Women Issues, and Men Issues. I am a trained EMDR & CPT Bilingual Therapist.
In addition to my counseling services, I am a certified Evidence Based Coach and offer Coaching Services to those who are on a quest of seeking their next chapter in life.
I am a graduate from Our Lady of the Lake University were I completed a Master of Science in Psychology and earned a Certificate in Psychological Services for Spanish Speaking Populations in 2013. This certification serves to enhance my cultural competency in working with the Latino/Spanish Speaking Population. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management from University of Central Florida (2006) and a Certificate of Evidence Based Coaching from Fielding Graduate University (2017).
