Marie Kidd, LCSW
About me
I'm a therapist with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through life's most challenging moments. I work with clients of all backgrounds, with a particular focus on helping older adults navigate their unique needs and concerns.
My practice centers on depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, and trauma recovery. I'm deeply committed to helping clients build self-esteem, strengthen communication skills, and cultivate self-love and forgiveness. I also specialize in supporting those experiencing social anxiety, panic attacks, grief from divorce or separation, attachment challenges, and feelings of isolation or abandonment.
Beyond these core areas, I work with clients on body image concerns, financial stress, caregiver burnout, mood disorders, control issues, and women's health and life transitions. I believe that healing happens when we address both the emotional and practical dimensions of our struggles.
My approach is grounded in compassion and collaboration. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, process difficult emotions, and discover your own path forward. Whether you're working through past trauma, navigating relationship challenges, or searching for greater purpose and meaning in your life, I'm here to support you with care and genuine understanding.
I would be honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
