Dr. Marina Tomazinis, Psychologist
About me
I am a clinical psychologist licensed in California with over 15 years experience working as a psychologist and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including grief and loss, depression, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges and changes, and chronic pain,. I have a particular interest in working with women, including those navigating reproductive milestones and lifespan changes.
I employ a therapeutic approach which is integrative, drawing on evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, and focus on individual treatment needs. My therapeutic style is warm and collaborative, and culturally-sensitive.
I put an emphasis on skill-building and developing self-awareness. I use a strength-based approach to enhance resilience which helps clients achieve healthier and happier relationships with themselves and others.
Therapy can be an immensely useful tool in achieving a happier and more fulfilling life. If this goal is something that you wish to work toward, then I am here to support you in doing that. I look forward to working with you.
