I received my Masters’ of Social Work in 2010 from The University of Alabama and began my career working with the local homeless population my first year after graduate school. I later moved into clinical practice, working for a local organization, working with clients experiencing mental health and substance abuse disorders. I have utilized evidence based practices with the following therapeutic modalities: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Motivational Interviewing Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Spiritual Integration Counseling, Strength-Based Therapy, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
There are so many aspects that affect mental health, and I encourage that all areas be addressed in order to ensure the best possible outcome. I enjoy getting to know my clients and what they want to achieve through therapy so they are able to live their best life.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Marjorie Ann Robinson. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
She’s perfect for me
Marjorie Ann is a good listener and easy to talk to.
Excellent listener, very intuitive, sensitive to the needs of the client. Great therapist that had helped me tremendously
Marjorie has been so amazing to work with! This is my first ever therapist and I can’t help but feel so grateful I was placed with her. She’s non-judgmental and helps you work through your thoughts without pressure. I can feel that she genuinely cares and wants me to be successful in taking care and loving myself.
Marjorie is such a supportive and kind person. She helps you set the pace and is never overbearing. She checks in with me throughout the week and she helps identify resources to help me. I would absolutely recommend working with her to anyone seeking a therapist.
She is kind and patient, letting you creep through your thoughts then helping to clarify and offer suggestions to ease your journey.
I was hesitant to start with a new therapist, but was extremely happy to find how caring and nonjudgmental Marjorie is. She checks in on me practically daily, not making life issues wait until our scheduled time. We are still new to working together, but I must say it has been one of my favorite therapist-client experiences to date. And I intend to be her client as long as she’ll have me.
