About me
I am an accomplished Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nine years of experience as a licensed social worker. I am dedicated to guiding individuals through crisis, complex life transitions, mental health challenges, and behavioral patterns. My individual practice is defined by is remarkable adaptability across the lifespan and its deep commitment to cross-cultural therapy, allowing me to provide culturally responsive, affirming care to people of various cultures, adolescents and teenagers, adults in midlife, elderly population and LGBTQ community.
My ultimate clinical objective is empowerment. Rather than dictating a rigid path to recovery, I view myself as the facilitator, helping clients discover, cultivate, and confidently pursue their own path in life. I recognize that life looks different at every age and identity. By providing a deeply affirming, culturally competent, and trauma informed space my goal is to ensure clients feel safe to de-escalate during acute distress, explore their authentic selves and build long-term resilience.
To bridge the gap between immediate stabilization and long-term, self directed growth, I utilize a robust, evidence-based toolkit of the following therapeutic modalities and interventions: " Crisis Intervention, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Behavior Modification.
