Mark Machak, LPC
About me
I work with many individuals struggling with perfectionism, anxiety, emotional disconnection, relationship dissatisfaction, chronic self-pressure or burnout, and difficulty enjoying life.
I work best with people who are ready to make meaningful (although sometimes difficult) changes in their life. I tend to have more of an "active" stance in sessions, providing practical skills, tools, insights, and feedback to serve clients' goals.
My approach is integrative-combining psychodynamics, attachment, and development. I work with people to clarify their goals and needs for a range of life's obstacles. My specialties and areas of interest include : trauma, relationships, and career decision-making. I utilize knowledge and experience from clinical and research settings.
If you struggle with perfectionism, repeated relationship issues, procrastination, chronic burnout, or emotions--reach out to see if we'd be a good fit!
