Mark McWhorter, LCMHC, LPC
About me
I am a licensed mental health counselor in Idaho, Utah, and Oregon, with over three years of professional experience in clinical practice. In addition to my counseling work, I have served for more than ten years as a law enforcement chaplain, supporting individuals, officers, and families through crisis situations. I have also been an ordained clergy member for over twenty years, with extensive experience in pastoral and Christian counseling.
I work with clients navigating stress, anxiety, family conflict, grief and loss, anger management, and major life transitions. My approach is grounded in creating a safe, open, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.
Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling and balanced life requires courage. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they move toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
