I am Mark Rogers, a licensed mental health counselor-supervisor (LMHC-S) in Florida. I have practiced person-centered mental health counseling for over 13 years with twenty years of experience in career and daily functioning coaching. My clients have ranged from primary school, adolescents, adults, members of the LGBTQ community, and incarcerated individuals. I have been EMDRIA trained to provide EMDR therapy (eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing). attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder-certified clinical service provider (ADHD-CCSP), trauma (PTSD and CPTSD).
My modalities include cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy (CBT and DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and EMDR with a goal of solution-focused therapy. Our therapeutic relationship is the most important part of counseling.
During our sessions, my goal is to help you achieve your goal. I will be more focused on helping you achieve the goals you set than giving a diagnosis/label.
I know that the hardest part of getting help is the process of asking (or seeking) help for an issue. Most of us do not want others to see us at less than our best. I feel that my role as a counselor is to genuinely care for my clients. A counselor should avoid judging or putting their value system in the way of progress. The only goal that I personally have for my clients is to achieve the best quality of life that they can create for themselves. I am a facilitator towards progress, but the engine that drives progress is within you.
I look forward to meeting you.

I was needing to talk to someone with life experience who is non judgemental. I feel I have found that person. Mark's time spent within the Navy and working in the prison system has set me at ease to let me be completely unfiltered and truthful.

Mark was a great fit for me and was great at helping me to manage my anxieties. I consider myself to be a problem solver and it took a lot to accept the fact that I couldn't do this by myself. I've never had therapy and my apprehension about it was erased 5 minutes after talking with Mark. Talking with him felt like having a conversation with an old friend, which allowed me to open up about my problems. He gave me the tools and tips to help me see things more clearly and to find the answers I needed. After two months with Mark, I feel better and more at peace than I have in years. I would very highly recommend Mark!

As of today it has been one year of therapy with Mark. He was the first therapist I met on this platform and I was a little unsure at first. But after 2 weeks, I found that his open and charismatic personality was a pleasure to interact with.
When I first started, I was freshly recovering from a very long depressive period in my life. I wanted to get the tools necessary to keep myself from that place. I didn't realize that 2021 was going to be the most difficult year of my life. I lost my mother, grandfather, and a cousin. I lost a romantic relationship the day before my grandfather passed. But with Mark's help I was able to process these things and bounce back and ensure I didn't fall back into depression like before.
I cannot express to you how much Mark has helped me grow as a person. He will tell you it was all me and that he just helped nudge a little bit, but I think that he is just being humble. He has been a tremendously positive influence on my life. So please, if you just meet with him, give him a few weeks to get to know him and then you will see what an amazing person he truly is. Good luck on your journey =)

I considered my self a very strong willed person and it took me a lot to get into therapy. I was dealing with a lot of stress at work which lead to a lot of anxiety, and I was also dealing with the loss of my older sister which I never really found a way of dealing with it, right away I wanted to tackle my work issues, felt like my emotions with work really triggered a lot of my life outside of work. Mark Rogers was a great listener and gave me new tips and tricks every week on whatever I was dealing with, sometimes I was dealing with issues outside of work and sometimes I just needed someone to know that this is what I am dealing with and how I am struggling, and just hearing "you're doing the best that you can" is what I really needed to hear in that moment. I felt better and more at ease after talking with him, as much as I will miss talking to him, I am happy to keep moving on and practicing the help he offered, I know if I need him he'll be there again to help me manage my current situation. Thank you again Mark you' were wonderful. Steph S.

Mark Rogers is an excellent therapist. He is very easy to talk to. He's very experienced and knowledgeable with respect to trauma and all other aspects of my therapeutic needs. I was nervous about the idea of online therapy and was worried that it would be too impersonal. It was just the opposite. I've never had a more rewarding therapy experience. Mark is very professional. He was exactly the therapist I needed. I am very grateful that he was the one to help me. He is the best therapist I've ever had. If I ever need therapy again, he will definitely be my first choice.

The best most patient and understanding therapist ever! I can't explain in words how much he has helped me with my anxiety, self-confidence, and procrastination. He was incredibly understanding, patient, and took the time to figure out what would work for me. I was so unbelievably scared to start therapy in the beginning, but by our last meeting I actually looked forward to them and will miss them! I'm so grateful to have had him as my therapist and full heartedly recommend trying out therapy with him!

Mr Mark has been very beneficial to my mental health and stability. He listens, responds, and makes suggestions where appropriate. Not your average, push cures in your face, type of counselor. Very easy to work with and will most definitely recommend this app AND this counselor to any family or friend in need of some help!!

Mark was a perfect match for what I needed. Mark is exactly what a great therapist is... patient, calm, knowledgeable, caring, informative, prompt, courteous, and at the same time real, humorous, and empathetic . I have been a divorce attorney for almost 30 years and I have met a lot of mental health therapists... Mark rates at the very top . . . a pro's pro. Mark is very experienced and thankfully extremely easy to talk to... I knew he was right for me within the first 2 minutes of our initial meeting... His calm and caring voice puts you at ease. I counselled with Mark weekly for 4 months and I found every session was a learning experience for me. I always got something out of each session that I did not know or realize before. In fact, Mark has taught me many things related to mental health that I have since used to help my own clients. He is a wealth of information and experience. He has my highest recommendation. It is a relief to know that even though I have finished my need for weekly sessions at this point (much thanks to Mark and his guidance), he remains available to me in the future... I know he is there if I ever need him... The world can use a lot more caring and friendly people like Mark...

I have suffered from chronic pain, anxiety, and depression for six years now. I also have OCD. In five sessions Mark has identified ways in which I can coax myself toward hope for the future and manage the fear of taking small steps out of my comfort zone in order to enrich and improve my quality of life. Mark focuses on techniques and solutions that can help to form healthier habits in the present. He has helped me raise the confidence I need to form and pursue new goals without becoming overwhelmed. I highly recommend his practical approach toward anxiety and depression.

Mark really helped me during my crippling anxiety. He is a very patient listener, and was quick to get back to me with his research. The fact that he took his own time to do said research was very comforting. The techniques he gave me helped me find my center when things got overwhelming. I truly appreciated his help and benefited from our sessions.
