Admitting you may need help is the first step ...and it's the hardest one. So congrats on making this step!
Exploring one's mental health is hard but also very rewarding.
I am a certified EMDR therapist. I am also a licensed mental health counselor and licensed clinical addictions counselor.
I believe that exploring ourselves takes a lot of courage, but the rewards are plentiful when taking that first step.
We are each on our own path, and I believe that everything you need -- all the wisdom, all the answers -- can be found within you. You just need some help in tapping in to your own inner resources.
Often that inner wisdom is silenced, either in childhood or early adulthood, through abuse or neglect. Even mild emotional abuse over time can silence that wisdom.
Together we can awaken that wisdom and get you on a path that is lighter and happier. My ultimate goal is for you to not need therapy any more!
