About me

I am both a Mental Health counselor and a Chemical Dependenccy Counselor licensed in Ohio with 35 years of experience. I am also a Certified Hypnotherapist. I specialized in helping people with intense anxiety issues who have sometimes chosen unhelpful coping skills.. I have worked with all kinds of people from all types of backgrounds, families and situations. I believe in starting where the person wants to start and listening to what they need. I have worked in jails, hospitals, treatment centers, shelters
and in colleges.
I was asked why I am still working as a counselor and I replied " I am amazed by us humans. I learn every day about courage and resiliency when I listen to the stories of the
people who are trusting me to join them on their journey. " I believe counseling does work when we work as a team. If this sounds like a good fit to you, let's get started.
