About me

Hi there! I'm glad you're here. I know that life can get tough leaving us feeling stuck, confused or overwhelmed. Counseling can certainly help, so I am glad you're considering this option.

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I'm also bilingual, and offer services in both English and Spanish. My approach to therapy has been described by previous clients as "insightful and practical". My counseling style is client-centered - this means that you are the focus of therapy, and I consider you to be the ultimate expert on yourself. That being said, our work together will involve drawing out your strengths, building upon them, and helping you move forward in a warm and supportive environment.

I have been working with families, individuals, children and teens in a mental health capacity for 8 years now. I have worked with a diverse range of populations and with various mental health issues. More specifically, it has been my privilege to help people heal from and work through issues such as chronic depression, grief, social anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder, multigenerational issues including sibling and parenting issues, boundary setting in relationships, and history of trauma or abuse.

If you decide to work with me, I'm hopeful that together we can find a way to help you move forward, and feel in control of your life once again.

Martha is amazing!! I looked for a long time for a therapist I could relate to and Martha is great. I feel like she really understands what I’m saying and is able to offer clear insights and advice :)

Martha has been so helpful. She helps me think about why I react towards things a certain way and not feel guilty or shameful (even when I'm cringy)- but acknowledge them and rethink how I'd like to respond to situations. I'm so thankful for Martha

This is my first experience with online therapy and Martha has made it the best. She is so companionate, listens and provides feedback and solutions as she has known you your whole life. I joined therapy in hopes of healing someone else and ended up finding myself with Martha’s help. I have no idea how I would of gotten through the last couples without her!!
