About me
Ms. Stuart is a subject matter expert in behavioral health disorders with an emphasis on trauma informed care, substance use disorders, and implementing clinical strategies to address emotional, social, and cognitive developmental delays. She is an international clinical social worker with 13 years of experience in HIV medical research, public health administration, maternal and child welfare and mental health services. Ms. Stuart has a passion for empowering women, youth, and families. She is is currently a Psychotherapist working at a school with children and their families, with emotional and developmental disabilities. She also has served as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Social Work. She believes in community service and continues to be a mentor to youth in Botswana and Guyana where she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer. She has been a yogi for 10 years and loves her personal yoga practice for overall wellness. Ms. Stuart believes wholly in the benefits of acupuncture, oriental medicine, along doula services.
Ms. Stuart is able to provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy to youth and their families who are suffering from traumatic life adjustments, family and community violence, substance use disorder. Martha Stuart has a reputation for having a calm soothing voice which guides her clients to well being.
