Mary Beth Adams, LPC
About me
🌿 Welcome!
I view every individual as a unique masterpiece—created with purpose, strengths, and abilities that serve as the foundation for personal growth. Together, we’ll use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tools such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and mindfulness techniques to renew patterns of thinking and promote resilience.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and Faith Based Counselor with over 10 years of clinical experience. I hold Master’s degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling and Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I provide remote telehealth sessions for adults aged 18 and up, offering compassionate, client-centered care grounded in both faith and evidence-based practice.
My areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and relationship issues. My goal is to help clients gain insight, develop healthier coping skills, and experience meaningful, lasting change.
For those seeking a faith-based approach, I integrate biblical truth and Christian principles with established therapeutic techniques. I take a holistic approach that supports healing of both the mind and body, recognizing that emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness are deeply interconnected.
Seeking help is a courageous step—and I commend you for taking it. Once we begin working together, our therapeutic relationship will be built on trust, openness, and mutual respect. I will listen with empathy, gently challenge unhelpful patterns, and walk beside you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
Our first session will be a time for you to share your story and clarify your goals for therapy. From there, we’ll collaborate on a personalized plan designed to help you move forward with confidence, hope, and faith. My mission is to provide a safe, welcoming space where you feel supported, valued, and empowered to grow—mind, body, and soul.

She is very supportive. She explains things in a very simple unjudgemental way.
