About me

My name is Mary 'Beth' Fisher Sanders and I go by 'Beth Sanders'. I have practiced for over 30 years and am a licensed clinical social worker with certifications that reflect extensive background in addictions and other mental health issues. I have also worked for most of my career with a focus on families and couples. My approach is relational. There are as many approaches to therapy as there are therapists - if we align to work together my role is to empower you to reach your goals, to help you identify the assets and barriers to doing so, and perhaps teach some healthy coping and communication strategies as well. I consider the journey to self awareness and understanding a sacred journey, and one that is vital for desired change. Time is a precious commodity, and I will challenge you to maximize yours to achieve desired results. Additionally, it is a process that I myself continue to do, so be assured that there is nothing that I will ask you to do that I have not done myself. While I do not claim to be a religiously based therapist, please know that there is a spiritual foundation in my approach and I will meet you whereever you are in your spirituality, whatever that means to you. I consider it a great honor to know the deepest parts of those that I walk and work with, and will help you lift up and strengthen the best parts of you.

Beth has been wonderful to work with and really cares about and understands her clients.

Mary Fisher, cunning, kind, professional.
I showed up in a real mess, but she didn't miss a beat. While calm and collected herself, she has warmly guided me through exploring traumatic past events that I was otherwise incapable of approaching fully alone, allowing for meaningful connections to be drawn to present difficulties. Rather than coddling, she builds deep understanding, which in turn eases the transition to an to an open, and unshakable confidence.
Thankful for her role in my life so far, and excited to continue learning and healing.
