Mary Fiumara, LCSW
About me
As a licensed therapist in California, I bring four decades of compassionate clinical experience supporting individuals through life's complex emotional landscapes. My practice specializes in helping clients navigate challenges related to depression, anxiety, stress, eating disorders, and self-esteem issues.
I have a deep understanding of the unique experiences faced by gay individuals, older adults, and young professionals. My therapeutic approach focuses on exploring your thoughts, identifying and challenging any thinking errors, addressing communication difficulties, social anxiety, depression, isolation, guilt, shame, eating disorders, and body image concerns. I am particularly attuned to women's issues and midlife transitions.
My goal is to create a supportive, affirming environment where clients can explore their emotions, develop resilient coping strategies, and cultivate meaningful personal growth. I believe in meeting each person exactly where they are, with empathy, respect, and genuine care.
Through collaborative and personalized therapy, I help individuals build stronger self-understanding, improve emotional well-being, and move towards more fulfilling lives. I'm committed to walking alongside you in your journey of healing and self-discovery.
