Mary Len, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a master's degree in Social Work. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression and trauma-based mental health disorders in children and adults. I have over 15 years of experience helping clients make sustainable changes in their relationships, thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I do so by using a client-centered approach, involving a compassionate, supportive communication style that enables my clients to create change. I have experience helping adults, as well as children, who are sexual abuse and trauma survivors, and I have worked in a hospice setting, helping clients to cope with grief and loss.
The majority of my experience has been helping others to cope and work through depression, anxiety, stress and various mental illnesses. I truly care about others, and have a positive, supportive attitude. In my own life I am a parent of an adult developmentally disabled child, and know firsthand the ins and outs of navigating through the tough times by maintaining a patient, supportive attitude. I believe that we all have the capacity to find the answers we need to live our best lives, but to do so we need someone who will support and regard us unconditionally, without judgment, and who will believe in us and encourage us. I would love to help you help yourself!
