About me

Prior to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor, I worked in corporate America. This background gives me perspectives to share with people are looking to enhance , or change, the direction of their careers.

I am awed by people's ability to make positive changes in their life with counseling assistance. There are times when we need to slow down and focus on our health and well being for ourselves and the people who care about us. Counseling provides that kind of safety, exploration, and insight. Using our increasing knowledge of the brain's ability to change and grow, I work with people experiencing the effects of anxiety on their lives. We work together to forge a path for improved mood, sleep, and life quality.

Most importantly, I work to help all my clients learn to recognize, and respect, their own strengths and help them realize their dreams and goals.

She has a very pragmatic approach to things; and her business background is extremely helpful for me in dealing with the particular combination of personal and career challenges I'm currently facing, because she understands what the world of business is like.

Mary is very insightful and she’s been wonderful so far. She listens to my ramblings and through our talks I feel like I can navigate what I’m feeling a lot better. She also makes me see things in ways I didn’t before. Love her

Mary has been a kindred spirit and has helped me employ strategies to get out of my thinking rut. She's given me the space to air out my thoughts, so that I can get to the point of finally giving myself permission. I appreciate that she comes from a diverse background and has experience with helping women in particular. Thank you!

Mary is very professional and is always on hand to reply to messages as soon as she is able to. In live sessions Mary listens closely and provides you with food for thought to reframe situations and start to address the root cause of issues. She was there for me personally at a very rough time when I needed an external voice and point of anchor to help guide me through what I was dealing with.

Mary is really nice, and she listens to me well. Mary’s approach is very gentle, and not invasive.I changed the therapist from another person to Mary and that was really the right choice.
It’s also easier to talk with somebody who is in the similar age group. That was very helpful too.
