I am a licensed independent clinical social worker. I have worked as both a contract therapist as well as within an organization for 6 years. I have worked with a wide variety of clients from individuals to families and couples; ranging in age from 6yrs-55yrs. I work with clients with varying issues from depression, anxiety, ADHD, relational issues, trauma and developmental attachment problems. I have also done a lot of work with parenting issues in my current full time position in the school system.
My counseling style is client centered but I also like to guide the sessions based upon the clients formulated treatment plan. I am warm and non judgmental. My goal is always to treat my clients with dignity and compassion, recognizing and honoring their strengths. I seek always to do no harm. My approach is collaborative and adaptive to what the client needs, you are the expert on your life. I am experienced in CBT, existential, mindfulness, and solution focused therapies. The goal of therapy is to make you feel comfortable enough to open your heart to receive your healing and accept your true self.
