I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Master's in Addiction Counseling in the state of Alabama. I graduated from the Univeristy of North Alabama with a bachelors in Social Work and a Master's in Community Counseling. I have been working in the behavioral health field since 2011 and have had extensive experience with individual, family, and group therapy. I have worked with a variety of different populations, with the majority of my experience being in addictions and trauma. I have been trained in a variety of different approaches including: Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Informed Care, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I believe that all people deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. My approach is person-centered and non-judgemental no matter what has occured in your life. Mary is a phenomenal therapist. She really listened to what I had to say and knew exactly how to respond. She didn’t always tell me what I wanted to hear, but what I needed to hear. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
