About me

I believe it is never to late to make a new start. “If you are on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; and in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive” (C.S. Lewis). With 15 years of experience in the field of mental and behavioral health working with children and adults diagnosed with mental and developmental disorders I have found this to be especially to be true. I've had direct clinical experience in the areas of depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, school and transitional issues, self-esteem, grief/loss, trauma, and family conflict.

I specialize in helping preteens, adolescents, and adults discover their personal strengths and find joy and hope throughout their everyday lives. I also collaboratively work with couples and families to provide a nonjudgmental therapeutic approach to strengthen their relationship and optimize family goals.

I believe in meeting my client's where they are in their healing journey. I place a high emphasis on listening and on understanding your situation and your goals. I will work with you to help you reach your attainable goals. You, your marriage, and your family are worth the investment in counseling.
