About me

Do you struggle to picture yourself in a stereotypical counseling setting that is awkward and heavy? Or have past therapy experiences left you feeling like something essential was missing despite your best efforts? I’ve heard this far too often, and I’m passionate about offering a refreshing alternative to what can be the stifling environment of modern therapy.

I strive to empower those who've struggled—or worry about struggling—to find a therapist who truly understands and is able to help. Together, we'll unlock your innate potential: mastering challenging emotions, growing positive ones, and taking bold action with inner-strength.

The meaningful and serious topics that matter to us don't have to exclude life's joy and humor. Even the barriers that feel impossible right now can become pathways that lead us to deeper truth and lasting acceptance. My approach blends CBT, existential, and spiritual perspectives, deeply informed by my study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism.

I specialize in Complex Trauma, OCD, and related anxiety disorders. I also have advanced expertise in the gold-standard treatments of exposure modalities (ERP, PE). Your next step towards transformation can start now. An authentic therapeutic connection can spark profound, lasting growth—and I would be deeply honored to walk that path with you.

I have been through a few therapist with little results. Mathew is one of the best out there. He has helped me get though difficult times in my life through his listening and advice. He has given me several tools to help me deal with challenging situations and how to thrive with ADHD. I strongly recommend Mathew!

He can understand what my primary concerns are because 95% of the time I don't. Given that he's working blind, its a miracle Ive come as far as I have. He's a 10 and I always recommend BetterHelp to friends.

I've had a few therapists over the years and Matthew is definetely the best i've had. He is non-judgemental which is exactly what I need. He also has helpful responses to everything I talk about.
