About me

I am a licensed professional counselor who has been working for the past 5 years in addictions and mental health. I have worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, relationship issues and more.

I take my approach to counseling from the client's perspective. My approach is client centered, meaning I believe everyone has the ability to help themselves and will do so if given the opportunity. I also use cognitive behavior therapy when clients identify a barrier to their goals. I believe counseling is best begun in the present day-to-day life of the client and assist in helping them be who they want to be.

It is my favorite thing in the world to watch people learn and grow. I believe that everyone is capable of great change and that anyone can live a fulfilling life. I am happy to be a part of the process.

Matt is the perfect counselor for me. We really seem to be on the same wavelength about almost everything and I really appreciate his ability to recognize where my thoughts and mentality come from and just help me confront my issues. He’s also really easy to talk to and a fantastic listener who provides amazing resources for my benefit. I can’t recommend him enough, he’s really helped me out so much more than other counselors have in the past. I’m extremely grateful to have him as my counselor.
