About me

Hello and Welcome. My name is Matt Volker, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than six years of experience. For some asking for help and speaking to a counselor can be scary; however, by being here, you have already taken the hardest step. By taking the next step, know that you are not alone, and we can walk together through the journey of your life. My desire is to create a safe space for you to work on the things that are important to you.

Some of the intervention that I utilize are Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Positive Psychology and Reality Therapy. I work with adults, adolescents, and couples, with a focus on working toward optimal functioning. I use a holistic approach integrating a mind, body, and a spiritual approach, while incorporating mindfulness and meditation into your life to bring awareness and calmness.

I would ask that you take a breath… You have made the first choice to get better… Are you ready to begin?
Namaste…
