I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 3 years of experience working with clients with dual diagnoses including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, substance abuse disorders, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. Throughout my experience I have worked with clients in the group and individual therapy setting providing counseling related to family of origin issues, depression, substance use, grief/loss, loneliness, relationship issues, trauma, abuse, and emptiness related to finding purpose. Prior to going back to school for counseling, I worked with clients and their partners with HIV/AIDS.
I provide counseling through a person-centered perspective. I think it is important to let each client be the expert of their life, and recognize the personal strengths that are important in forming new ways to tackle ongoing issues that are holding each client back from finding and choosing to live their best, most fulfilled, lives. I think it is important for clients not only to participate in therapy, but also to participate in experiential modalities to recognize what will be helpful to work through experiences in the here and now.
I want to meet each client where they are in their process toward change and fulfillment. Thank you for choosing to let me work with you while finding fulfillment.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Megan Beecham. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
She has been very helpful for me & my overwhelming feelings. I have literally felt the weight lift off of my chest & I feel more confident & open to express my feelings. My relationship has become stronger & more communicative & it's been absolutely lovely! I take care of myself emotionally better & I'm less afraid to speak my mind when I'm dissatisfied. I feel great & it's all thanks to Mrs. Megan!
She has been a great person to converse with, helping me see possible other issues arising from what I am going through.
Megan is a great listener, and an even better explainer when it comes to topics, feelings, and going in depth with my emotions during sessions.
Thanks for helping. You are great!
I know finding someone right away is tough, but when talking to Megan for the first time I knew it was right. She asked me what I needed from this and has stuck with it each and every session. I look forward to our conversations and empowerment I feel moving forward.
I’ve only had 3 sessions with Megan so far and have never felt so heard by a therapist before in my life (and I’ve tried multiple!). I’ve used BetterHelp in the past and always felt like the therapists were there for a paycheck, honestly. It’s completely different with Megan. She really, truly cares. But let me say this… be READY for therapy before you start working with her - because she is definitely going to challenge you (in the best ways) to really think and dissect what you’re dealing with, and then work towards change!
