Megan Foley, LCSW
About me
As a licensed therapist in Virginia, I specialize in supporting individuals through life's complex challenges. With over a decade of clinical experience, I focus on helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, and significant life transitions. My approach centers on empowering individuals to develop stronger communication skills, explore personal purpose, and build resilience.
I have extensive expertise working with diverse populations, including young adults, women, individuals experiencing workplace stress, and older adults facing aging-related challenges. My therapeutic practice addresses a wide range of concerns, from social anxiety and panic disorders to family dynamics and chronic health conditions. I have spent the last 18 years as a dialysis social worker, helping people navigate through ESRD.
My commitment is to create a compassionate, supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and cultivate self-understanding. I believe in a collaborative approach that honors each person's unique journey and inherent strengths. Together, we can work towards meaningful personal growth and emotional well-being.
