About me

I am a professional counselor licensed in Pennsylvania. I have worked in various behavioral health settings including community mental health services, community substance use services, and private practice for 19 years. I work with individuals who experience a wide range of symptoms and concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting challenges, and career challenges. I have also worked with many people who have experienced trauma and abuse.

My therapy style is casual, warm and interactive, although I can be more structured if you prefer. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. You are the expert on you, and you are the hero/heroine of your own story. I look forward to discovering your strengths, and helping you learn and master new ones, so that you can navigate the ups and downs of life on your own and with confidence. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and humanistic principles. We will tailor our dialog and collaborate on your treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Change can be hard, it involves both choice and loss, and is sometimes scary. It takes some courage. Being brave doesn’t mean being fearless; it means doing something even though you are afraid. I look forward to seeing you, hearing you, and being witness to your story. I am excited to walk this part of your path with you!

Megan is an amazing therapist. She has helped me develop coping skills, look at situations through different lenses, ensure I felt heard and supported, and much more. I always walk away with very tangible, practical steps I can take. I highly recommend Megan.

Megan has both experience and a true intuitive talent to zero in on things that have helped me make positive changes in my mental health. I am VERY grateful that I made the decision to get on BetterHelp and that Megan is my therapist. Can’t recommend her enough.

She is always very considerate and always told me what I needed to hear. She knows how to comfort while also help address issues and help you move forward. She is extremely caring but also knows when you may need a little push. All around great therapist!

Megan is a great listener. Clearly an important attribute for a therapist. But she goes beyond just listening. She’s clearly invested in every aspect of my life with me. She demonstrates this by referring to things about me that we may have only mentioned once. And she asks very good questions that don’t make me feel pressured in anyway.
It’s a very nice hour that I get to spend with her,
