About me

I am a clinical psychologist in the state of California, and I have been licensed since 2009. I have trained and worked in a variety of settings helping individuals with a range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, adjustment disorders, as well as other mental health diagnoses such as bipolar disorder. I enjoy helping and supporting others through challenging episodes in their life.

My therapy style can be described as judgment free and supportive yet goal oriented and solution focused. The approaches to therapy that I often utilize include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and client centered therapy; however, depending on the presenting concerns and goals may sometimes utilize an analytical or existential approach.

I think that seeking out support takes courage, and my goal is to create a safe and welcoming experience. I look forward to working with you.

I have been Dr. Tsang’s client for close to 2 years now, so far, I have been extremely happy about the work we have done together. Dr. Tsang consistently tried to probe the issue at hand in multiple different directions to help me see other possibilities. I have noticed that she is completely non-judgemental and her only goal throughout our sessions is improving my mental well being and the overall quality of my life through mental health.
I also appreciate her responses over text even when I end up sending long essays. Her responses are detailed and thoughtful.

Typically it takes me time a little bit of time to feel comfortable with my therapist but with Dr.Tsang I instantly felt comfortable, seen, and heard. I also really appreciate and value her feedback.

Dr. Tsang is compassionate and helpful. She is the calm in any storm that I have. She responds to journal entries, messages and is excellent face to face. I am so grateful that I found her.

Dr. Tsang is very kind and empathetic. She listens and does not judge at all. She offers different ways to cope with certain issues and always validates how you feel. If something doesn’t work, she will find another activity or method to try. Dr. Tsang is open to your opinion and always checks in to make sure she is understanding the situation properly. She is fantastic and I’m very lucky I found her.
