Hi, I’m Melana—a therapist and a single mother by choice. I understand the overwhelming mental load that comes with managing a family, a career, and relationships all at once. I bring both lived experience and clinical expertise to help you navigate the tough stuff with honesty, intention, and heart.
I work with individuals, couples, and families who are ready to explore what’s not working—and start making changes they’re proud of. My approach is grounded, compassionate, and practical. I use evidence-based methods like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and strength-based strategies to help you gain clarity and momentum.

Melana not only takes a positive approach to heavy problems, but she is solution orientated even if it's a small step with your anxiety, she'll formulate a plan to help you achieve your goals. It's not about moving mountains right away. It's about making progress however small towards your goal. I've been excited to go to therapy for the first time in a while because she listens. I feel seen. I feel understood and I'm talking to someone with compassion. I deeply appreciate that.

I love having Melana as my therapist. I love that our sessions feel relaxed and casual like talking to someone I've known my whole life, but she also gives this confident direction so I leave feeling a bit more confident too. She's really good at being logical and empathetic, and realistic while still honoring my emotions. She really understands complicated situations and can identify exactly how I'm feeling about it. She's great.
