Melinda Barth, LPCC
About me
I have been working in behavioral health since 2019 and have experience across a variety of treatment settings. I am passionate about mental health and enjoy getting to know the unique experiences, strengths, and perspectives that make each person who they are. My approach is warm, approachable, and collaborative, and I often incorporate humor to help clients feel comfortable, understood, and supported.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in Adlerian theory and integrates evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills. I primarily work with older adolescents (ages 16+) and young adults, and I welcome most adults ages 18 and older. I value curiosity, self-awareness, and helping clients develop practical tools they can apply to everyday life.
Outside of work, I enjoy hot yoga, walking and running, playing the guitar, and unwinding with a good true crime book or documentary.
