Melissa Morrison, LCSW
About me
Hello! My name is Melissa Morrison and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Georgia with 4+ years of therapy experience and 22 years of social work experience. Life brings a fair share of challenges, and sometimes we all need support. My passion is providing an environment of unconditional positive regard, where we can hold space together when things get difficult. True growth is about self-reflection and the willingness to process the experiences, feelings, and beliefs which have brought us into the place where we are while providing insight into where we want to go. It is my belief that as people become more aware and embracing of themselves, they are more capable of finding a sense of peace and contentment in their lives. In order to grow and evolve, it’s crucial that we take time to contemplate things that can bring us the awareness that ushers in fulfillment. I believe we are all here sharing this experience of life together and are meant to support each other’s journey along the way. I’m honored for the opportunity to work with you!
*Please note: It is not my policy to provide letters for ESA or workplace issues. If you need assistance with this, please contact BetterHelp client services.

She’s so attentive and she manages to pinpoint the true issues. She’s great, and I’ve been needing this for a very long time. I highly recommend her to anyone with a traumatic upbringing

Melissa has been a great addition to my "Building a Better ME Tool Box!" I am very appreciative of how she comes from a place of partnering with me to understand the how and using this to drive growth! This is my first time doing therapy, so I had a lot of concerns about doing it. Melissa, has absolutely addressed my concerns and has become a valued part of my weekly routine! She is the BEST!!!!

Melissa is the epitome of a professional. She intuits feelings and actions immediately and with accuracy. She puts things in perspective in a direct manner (which I asked for). I would recommend her every day and without fail.
