About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Montana and practice from a lens of support and exploration. I believe in providing a safe and empowering environment where we can work together to help you uncover your existing strengths and build new therapeutic skills for increased ease in navigating life challenges. My approach is effective. In a short amount of time clients often report experiencing important positive internal shifts and external changes.

I started out as a trauma specialist and have extensive experience in helping clients with stress/anxiety, depression, anger management, coping with grief as well as setting/reaching significant life goals. I work with my clients to create an open and nonjudgmental therapeutic experience where thoughts, feelings, and needs can be shared and solutions identified.

Melissa is the best therapist I’ve ever had. She’s exactly what I was looking for. She’s incredibly respectful and a great active listener. She always gives me great, practical tools. She never makes me feel judged, and always makes me feel like I can trust her. She doesn’t talk about herself too much, but provides good relatable examples so I know I’m not alone in my human experience. The icing on this cake is knowing she has her pets in the room- I SO appreciate having bonus therapy animals in my appointment!❤️
So grateful to Better Help for this perfect match.
