About me

Hello, my name is Michael Acampora. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the state of North Carolina. I am an empathetic, compassionate, self-motivated professional who strives to help individuals reach their full potential. I graduated from Springfield College in Springfield Massachusetts in 2008 with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling. I hold advanced training in many areas and I am a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist through EMDRIA. I also specialize in Subtle Yoga where I help my clients manage symptoms through grounding work and reenergizing techniques. I look forward to working closely with individuals, and together working on identifying a paths forward to reach short and long-term goals.
