Mike has been a welcome oasis of support in a challenging time. I came in not knowing fully how to articulate what I needed and what I was experiencing, and he has helped me sift through all of it to uncover what will help propel me forward. He listens deeply, asks great questions, and offers both perspective and tools that are helping me get my feet back under me. I am grateful to have found him through BetterHelp.

I’ve been a client of Mike’s for nearly a year and I can attest that he is the most thoughtful, attentive & caring therapist that I have ever worked with. One of the most profound things that sets him apart is that, with or without a scheduled appointment he will instinctively reach out to you and check on your well-being, perfectly timing it for much needed encouragement & upliftment.

I really like how Michael works with my son Jimmy. It is good for Jimmy to have someone other than his mother to talk with. Jimmy has responded positively to Michael. I think it is so valuable for Jimmy to feel heard. Thanks.

Michael is very soft spoken and thorough with his approach and analysis. I like the way he uses real life issues that help understand the approach to be taken to get better. He is positive and doesn't look at it as an hour and be done but, to get to the heart of what needs to be done in long and short term. I am glad I chose him.

Michael is a great counselor. I have had other counseling in the past and I never really stuck with it because I just couldn’t find the right fit. But Michael will listen to you and give you information that will help you. Right at the very first session I had with him I could tell that he is a good fit.

After three to four sessions with Michael, I mustered up the courage to go to my sports practice for the first time in six months. I will admit that I was scared of going due to the fact that I was very much behind pace-wise, but after about three weeks, I am closer to my usual pace. I will say that Michael has helped me in letting go of the those that I resented in the past, and it has helped me tremendously in gaining the motivation to swim again. I am still working on the competitive aspect, but I am sure that he will help me overcome my past racing fears! Kudos to him for the sessions and allowing for me to explore other methods of therapy.
