Michael Jackson, LPC
About me
I'm a therapist with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through some of life's most challenging moments. I work with clients navigating depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and significant life transitions. My practice is deeply informed by my expertise in LGBTQ+ affirming care, and I'm committed to creating a welcoming, culturally responsive space for all clients.
I specialize in helping people explore issues around self-worth, communication, social anxiety, guilt and shame, attachment patterns, and mood-related concerns. I also have extensive experience supporting clients through trauma, sexual assault, domestic violence, relationship challenges including infidelity and commitment concerns, codependency, and experiences of prejudice and discrimination. I work with men's issues, military and veteran experiences, and midlife transitions with particular care and understanding.
My approach is grounded in genuine connection and respect for your unique identity and story. I believe in meeting you where you are, without judgment, and collaborating with you to build meaningful change. Whether you're working through past wounds, relationship dynamics, or questions about who you are, I'm here to support your journey toward healing and growth.
