About Me

Hello, my name is Michael and it is a privilege to be able to help those in need. I received my Master of Social Work in 2015 after completing a Bachelors Degree in Neuropsychology. I have been, passionately, practicing social for the last 4 years and have focused on enhancing my skills over the past 2 years. I have worked with a wide variety of individuals who experience acute psychosis, to those who are experience depression and addiction issues, while serving in different service settings including community mental health, IOP, PHP, and Inpatient levels of care. I have the most experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults with depression, anxiety, history of trauma, and with addictions.

My therapeutic style is direct and compassionate. I believe that each individual is doing their best with the set of skills that they have, and I am here to open-mindedly help them sharpen their tools. I believe that recovery is a unique journey, and I feel privileged to be able to walk part of this journey with the individuals that I serve. It is my greatest duty to help you take your life back using cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, and rational emotive approaches.

It takes great boldness and courage to reach out for help and begin your journey. I look forward to being able to assist you in this process.

Michael is extremely attentive, intelligent, and polite. He's a great counselor that treats me as a capable human being rather than just only me for my disorder. His kindness and incredible insight has really helped me thus far, and I look forward to continuing my work with him!

Michael is an excellent counselor. I was incredibly skeptical about this entire experience and decided to step out on a limb and take a shot. I am so happy i did. He responds in a timely matter and checks in if i haven't responded or sent anything in awhile.

I recommend Michael and this experience to anyone considering it.

Michael has been a positive support system for me and had helped me to cope with difficult situations. I feel like he listens and really gets where I'm coming from. I appreciate the time that he takes to respond and guide me and for all of the emotional support.

Michael is caring, checks in with me just to see how my week is going. Talks with me about the big and little things. He is very flexible with his time. I have enjoyed our chats.
